What You’ll Do
- Clinical Care: Review and interpret medical and social histories; perform medical screening procedures/exams; interpret laboratory data; prescribe medications; provide contraceptive methods; manage STIs and genitourinary conditions; diagnose and treat STIs and genitourinary conditions; perform wart treatment and basic dermatological procedures; provide gender-affirming hormone therapy; offer premenopausal and menopausal health services; act as a medical consultant.
- Team Engagement: Assist medical assistants and support staff; attend staff meetings; contribute to clinic productivity and quality benchmarks; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Patient-Centered Exams & Management
- Conduct and interpret medical histories for sexual and reproductive health visits; perform pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears, and other screening procedures; order and interpret laboratory tests; ensure timely follow-up; manage urgent health situations.
Team Engagement
- Act as a clinical resource for medical assistants and support staff.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to clinic productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Women’s Health NP (WHNP), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) program.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.
- Board Certification.
- CPR/BLS certification (current or within 30 days of hire).
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows-based systems).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in reproductive health, OB/GYN, gender-affirming care, or family planning.
- Commitment to providing care that is respectful, inclusive, and affirming to all patients.
