Travel Nurse On Call RN - Med Surg - $3,010 per week

About the Role

NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med/Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in Kotzebue, Alaska. This position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, including on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med/Surg nursing care, including floating and cross-training as needed
• Care for Behavioral Health patients
• Demonstrate independence, flexibility, and adaptability in a remote setting
• Commit to serving the local community with cultural sensitivity

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience
• Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience and cultural sensitivity highly valued
• Active Alaska RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
