About the role
We are seeking an experienced RN - Med Surg for a travel position in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining infection prevention protocols
- Administering safe medications
- Preparing patients for diagnostic tests
- Providing post-procedure monitoring
- Educating patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of infection control and medication safety
- Excellent communication skills for patient and family education
Key Duties
- Work 36 hours weekly with 12-hour shifts
- Provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure adherence to safety and clinical standards
