Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
  • NRP certification
  • Previous NICU/RN experience preferred
  • Strong skills in neonatal nursing care, patient assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, documentation, and patient care coordination
  • Ability to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and provide family-centered care
  • English proficiency (read, write, speak)

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans
  • Monitor neonatal patients and administer treatments
  • Educate families on care and support
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced NICU environment
