About the role

Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in the cardiac operating room. Provide leadership by collaborating effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members. Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice within the clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient and family education to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Work 36 hours weekly with 12-hour shifts.
• Ensure compliance with health and occupational requirements, including background checks and drug screening.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of RN - CVOR experience required; healthcare travel experience preferred.
• Valid Texas state RN license and current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills and patient care abilities.
• Reliable transportation for travel assignments.
