About the role
We are seeking a Travel Nurse - CVICU to provide specialized critical care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities include coordinating comprehensive nursing care, participating in patient and family education, and collaborating with healthcare teams to uphold high clinical standards. Provide leadership and work cooperatively with ancillary staff to ensure quality patient outcomes. Maintain professional nursing standards in a fast-paced environment for adult-geriatrics patients.
Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of CVICU experience
- Tennessee RN license
- Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required
- Strong clinical skills
- Reliable transportation
Key duties
- Work 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours weekly
- Engage in patient and family teaching
- Support team collaboration
- Complete compliance requirements including background check and drug screening
