About the role

Travel nursing assignment for an Outpatient Infusion RN within a 75-mile radius of Utica, New York. Local candidates will be considered at a local rate. Position is on an outpatient infusion unit with a shift of 5x8 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff RN care in an outpatient infusion setting
• Administer chemotherapy and blood products
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as oncology, neuro, anemia, GI, and others
• Operate common infusion equipment including Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps
• Utilize technology such as EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, and glucometers
• Adhere to floating requirements as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy certifications
• Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion
