Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $3,501 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in La Mesa, California. This role requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and operates on a day shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceutical agents to patients
• Position and instruct patients for imaging procedures
• Operate and monitor scanners or cameras to capture images
• Provide technical support to physicians and researchers
• Ensure patient and staff safety by following safety protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• BLS certification
• National Certification from ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT
• State-specific licensing if required
• A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time

• 2 years of experience

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

The schedule is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
