Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $3,412 per week

ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (some procedures may run until 4:30 PM EST)
• No on-call and no weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT.
• Conduct cardiac blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis studies, and hybrid SPECT resting studies followed by PET sarcoid or viability studies.
• Acquire and process diagnostic images accurately.
• Perform daily quality control and manage radiopharmacy operations according to NYSDOH guidelines.
• Document patient information in the eRecord CUPID system.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with regulatory and radiation safety standards.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and explain procedures to patients.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and the team to improve protocols and implement new technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Minimum 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification.
• BLS certification.
• CT certification (mandatory to perform CT scans).
