About the role
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform radionuclide procedures and nuclear stress tests in an acute care hospital setting.
Assignment: 13-week travel contract starting September 7, 2026, in Bronx, New York. Day shift, 5×8-hour shifts (40 hours/week, 34.5 guaranteed hours). Includes a 1-hour lunch break. Uses Allscripts EMR.
Responsibilities
- Perform radionuclide procedures on patients
- Conduct exercise and pharmacological nuclear stress tests
- Receive and prepare patients for nuclear imaging testing
- Complete required forms and documentation in the computer system for each patient
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB
- NMTCB registry required
- New York State license required (if applicable)
