Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $3,189 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Bismarck, North Dakota. The assignment is for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour day shifts. This is an immediate travel opening.

Responsibilities

• Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures
• Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB‑CNMT.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Requirements*: ARRT (N), BLS, NMTCB (CNMT), 2 Years (additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment).
