About the role
LRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 2, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Accurately administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients during and after procedures.
- Record and report patient data accurately and maintain patient records.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Kentucky.
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to nuclear medicine.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
