About the role
LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026 in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Accurately position patients for imaging studies and operate equipment to capture images.
- Analyze images and report findings to the supervising physician.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Wisconsin.
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Experience in nuclear medicine technology preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and practices.
Qualifications

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
