About the role

LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026 in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
  • Accurately position patients for imaging studies and operate equipment to capture images.
  • Analyze images and report findings to the supervising physician.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine technology preferred.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and practices.

  • Proficiency in computer systems used in medical settings.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

8 hours, days shift.
