Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,760 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Hartford, Connecticut. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Responsibilities

• Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures
• Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB‑CNMT
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Schedule

8‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
