About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position in Harper, Kansas.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging tests using radioactive tracers.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Document patient information accurately and securely.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Kansas.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technologist program.
  • Passing score on the Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification exam.

Skills

  • Proficiency with nuclear medicine equipment.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
