About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Accurately administer radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitor patients during imaging sessions.
- Document patient information and results accurately in the medical record.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and maintain equipment calibration.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Colorado.
- Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Completion of an accredited program.
- Current registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
Skills
- Proficiency in using nuclear medicine equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
