About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 28, 2026, in Detroit, Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures to them.
  • Operate equipment to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Record patient data accurately and maintain patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Michigan.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection regulations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer systems used for patient management and imaging.

  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and protocols.

Pay

The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
