About the role

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tacoma, Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain the procedure to them.
  • Operate equipment and record data accurately.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Document all patient interactions and results in the medical record.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Washington.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
  • At least one year of relevant experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Knowledge of nuclear medicine principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

  • Proficiency with nuclear medicine equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.

Schedule
