About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tacoma, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain the procedure to them.
- Operate equipment and record data accurately.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document all patient interactions and results in the medical record.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Washington.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- At least one year of relevant experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
