About the role
Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Deming, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, including administering radioactive tracers and positioning patients.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in nuclear medicine procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in New Mexico.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in nuclear medicine.
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
