Travel NTICU RN - $2,459 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Neuro ICU assignment in Rockford, Illinois. The assignment starts October 26, 2026, lasts approximately 13 weeks (13.14 weeks), and involves 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Titrate medication drips as required.
• Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms, assessing need for intervention.
• Manage ventilator settings and medication titration.
• Maintain arterial and central lines.
• Provide care for patients requiring CRRT (preferred experience).
• Manage EVD/ICP monitoring (preferred experience).
• Perform general ICU nursing duties in a Neuro ICU setting.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated.
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS.
• Preferred certification: PALS (not required).
• Trauma Level: 1.
• Care Setting: Acute.

Qualifications

• BSN is not required.
• Leadership and clinical experience expected for an ICU RN role.

Skills

• Ventilator management and medication titration.
• Arterial line and central line placement and maintenance.
• CRRT (preferred).
• EVD/ICP monitoring (preferred).
• EKG rhythm interpretation and intervention assessment.
• Drip titration proficiency.

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates; actual amounts may vary. The pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
