About the role

Responsible for providing respiratory and neuro diagnostic services in the NICU setting. Duties include aerosol set up, mask and trach management, administration of medications, and troubleshooting alarms.

Responsibilities

• Aerosol set up mask, aerosol set up trach
• Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP
• Extubation, Flovent, Hand held, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Mucomyst, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning
• NICU, Oral airway placement, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, T-piece, Tobramycin, Trach collar, Tracheostomy care/management
• Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation

Requirements

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, RRT, IN license

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience
