About the role
Take your NICU nursing skills to Shawnee Mission, KS, where you will care for newborns needing advanced medical attention in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The facility features a family-centered culture, collaborative multidisciplinary teams, and compassionate support for patients and families. The assignment is located in Overland Park, Kansas.
Responsibilities
Provide advanced neonatal care to newborns in a Level III NICU, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver family-centered support to patients and families.
Requirements
- Current RN license (compact accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Availability to work every other weekend
- Familiarity with respiratory support, neonatal surgery, and developmental care
Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended
