About the role

Aptiva Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a 12-week assignment starting August 17, 2026 in Renton, Washington.

Responsibilities

• 2+ years of NICU experience required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Ratios of 1:1 to 3 based on acuity and staffing
• Use of EPICTrauma Level 3 charting system
• Titrating drips including BP drugs, TPN/D10, and insulin as needed
• Ability to float to pediatrics to care for NICU graduates up to 12 months old or provide 1:1 supervision for a behavioral health patient

Requirements

• Required: 2+ years of NICU experience
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Can float to pediatrics to care for NICU graduates up to 12 months old or provide 1:1 supervision for a behavioral health patient
• Titrating drips including BP drugs, TPN/D10, and insulin as needed

Qualifications

• Must have a current, active, unrestricted license to practice as an RN in the state of Washington
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Experience with EPICTrauma Level 3 charting system
• Experience titrating drips including BP drugs, TPN/D10, and insulin as needed
