About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York.
Assignment Details
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Hours: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts
- Start Date: 10/13/2026
Responsibilities
- Provide care for intubated and mechanically ventilated infants
- Administer medications and manage critical care IV therapies
- Monitor patient's vital signs and read telemetry strips
- Assist in the care of various common diagnoses, including prematurity, hypoglycemia, and congenital anomalies
- Participate in team rounds and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Support family-centered care and educate families on patient needs and conditions
Required Qualifications
- Current RN License
- Required Certifications: NRP, BCLS, PALS, ACLS
- Ability to float between NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units
- Experience with critical care technologies including NCPAP, oscillators, and bubble CPAP
- Previous Level 3 NICU experience preferred
