About the role
Travel nursing assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio. 13-week contract with 36 hours per week on a 3×12-hour day shift schedule (07:00–19:30).
Responsibilities
- Provide care for high-acuity neonates in a Level IV NICU, including infants with Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, and Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.
- Utilize advanced equipment such as Servo Ventilators, Nitric Oxide delivery systems, and Moog Feeding Pumps.
- Participate in interdisciplinary support with IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and other services.
- Monitor patient health, administer medications, perform medical interventions, and assist in managing neonates with complex conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level IV NICU.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active Ohio RN license or a Compact RN license.
- Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care.
- Pediatric care experience is preferred.
- Ability to provide a supervisor reference from within the last 2 years.
