About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Detroit, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for critically ill newborns at the facility, which features a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and dedicated pediatric burn center.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license or valid compact state license
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- At least 1 year of recent NICU experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – AHA
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification – AHA
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong assessment abilities, adaptability, and effective communication skills
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- 8 hour shifts, nights
- Start Date: 9/8/2026
Pay
- Pay Rate: $2162.00 – $2273.00
