Travel NICU RN - $2,097 per week

About the role

As a Travel RN‑NICU in Rapid City, SD, you will assess, plan, and implement care for infants with complex medical needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and documenting in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care for neonates with complex medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members
• Document all patient interactions and interventions in the EMR system
• Provide family education and support as needed
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment in the NICU

Requirements

• Completion of an approved nursing education program
• Active South Dakota RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (to be obtained within 60 days of hire)

Qualifications

• Experience in neonatal intensive care preferred
• Five or more years of registered nursing experience or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing recommended
• Strong clinical judgment and neonatal resuscitation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment

Pay

Pay rate: $2,044.00 – $2,149.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
