About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas.
Job Details
- Location: Dallas, Texas
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Schedule: Night Shift, 7 PM - 7 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to infants in the NICU unit
- Care for patients aged 2 years and under, including preemies from 28 weeks and above
- Manage respiratory care, including intubated patients
- Perform advanced procedures: central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations
- Work collaboratively with a team including RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
- Document patient care activities in CPN and Meditech systems
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Level III NICU experience
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Experience with surgical and cardiac patients preferred
