About the role
This is a 13-week contract position consisting of 3×12 hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and manage patients in a Level II NICU setting, ensuring optimal care and safety.
- Perform assessments and implement care strategies based on individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to families regarding neonatal care and health issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level II NICU.
- Travel experience preferred.
- Must hold current BLS, NRP or NRP Advanced, and STABLE certifications.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Ability to float to Baby Nurse as needed.
