Travel NICU Respiratory Therapist - $2,826 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a day shift travel assignment at a hospital in the greater New Orleans area.

Responsibilities

• Respiratory therapy services in a NICU setting
• Attendance at C-sections
• Intra-hospital patient transports

Requirements

• CRTT or RRT credential required
• Active Louisiana (LA) RT license required; license required if applicable
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (required for NICU work)
• Level 3 Nursery experience required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Qualifications

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Days, 4x12hrs (6:30 AM–7:00 PM), 48 hrs/wk, 13 weeks.
