Travel NICU Respiratory Therapist - $2,074 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU for a 13-week day shift assignment in Montgomery, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Serve both NICU and adult patient populations in a hospital respiratory therapy unit
• Provide care in a Level 3 NICU setting with 36 beds, typically 18–20 patients at a time
• Administer Nitric Oxide and perform ground transports
• Operate equipment including PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, Airvo ventilators, 3100A oscillator, and Spacelabs monitors
• Use Cerner EMR system and Omnicell for medication dispensing
• Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM), 36 hours per week, with weekend rotations every other weekend
• Voluntary call available
• Floating to any like unit or patient location within the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 3 NICU
• RRT preferred; CRT with at least 2 years of experience will be considered
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, APLS
• Cerner or Epic EMR experience required for first-time travelers
• Must be able to work independently in a Level 3 NICU setting
• Reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Licenses required if applicable
• Professional reference from a charge-level supervisor or above within the past 12 months required for consideration
• DOB (day and month) and full SSN required for consideration

Benefits

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
