About the role
We are seeking experienced registered nurses to provide specialized care in a neonatal intensive care setting.
Responsibilities
- Administering blood and blood products
- Managing arterial lines
- Monitoring blood glucose
- Supporting breastfeeding and handling breast milk
- Caring for central lines
- Performing developmental care
- Managing feedings via various methods
- Operating high-frequency ventilation
- Managing conditions like hyperbilirubinemia and sepsis
- Invasive hemodynamic monitoring
- Chest tube management
- Neonatal abstinence syndrome care
- Neonatal dosage calculations
- Care for very preterm neonates (< 24-28 weeks)
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a registered nurse
- Certifications in BLS, NRP, and STABLE
- Proficiency in procedures such as placing and maintaining IVs, managing UAC/UVC lines, phototherapy, using oscillators and nitric oxide
- Experience with patient and family teaching
- Knowledge of Epic charting system and neonatal care protocols
Skills
- Detail-oriented with strong technical and interpersonal skills
- Capable of providing high-quality neonatal care
