About the role
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves providing specialized care for neonates in a busy NICU environment. The selected candidate will work nights and be responsible for implementing advanced neonatal nursing skills to support high-risk newborns.
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 48 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
Responsibilities
- Manage patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:4
- Support high-acuity neonatal patients
- Float rotation as needed within similar units within scope
- Work within interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and interpretation services
- Start labs within 48 business hours after contract signing
Requirements
- 0+ years of experience in neonatal or pediatric nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Current licensure
- Physical ability to perform duties
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with Epic charting systems
Orientation
24 hours of orientation provided.
