Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,540 per week
Job Summary
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse will provide specialized care in a Level IV NICU environment with a 70-bed unit, including both private and shared rooms. The role involves working night shifts on a schedule of 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
- Ohio State Nursing License or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher
- Minimum of 3 years of neonatal intensive care experience, working in a facility within the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with bedside surgeries such as PDA ligation, chest tubes, and Penrose drains
- Familiarity with Cerner computerized charting system
Additional Information
The NICU admits infants primarily for prematurity (22-36 weeks), neurological disorders, congenital cardiac lesions, respiratory and renal issues, GI problems, and anomalies such as tracheostomies and GI ostomies. Occasional bedside surgeries are performed. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2 or 1:3. The role includes floating to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) when needed. Orientation typically lasts 2-3 shifts.
