Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,275 per week
About the Role
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized care in a Level III (preferred Level IV) neonatal intensive care setting for critically ill newborns, including those with congenital anomalies, respiratory distress syndrome, and other complex conditions. The position requires a strong focus on caring for premature and extremely low birth weight infants within a busy, high-acuity environment. This role emphasizes care for a patient population comprising newborns with diagnoses ranging from pulmonary hypertension to hydrocephalus.
Schedule
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- STABLE certification
- Minimum of 2 years of comparable NICU experience in a Level III (preferred Level IV) facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Level IV neonatal intensive care
- EPIC electronic health record system proficiency
- Background handling a diverse patient population including prenatal, surgical, and congenital diagnoses
Additional Information
A prior employment history with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted in the work history for rehire verification purposes, including a minimum one-year absence prior to reapplication if previously employed elsewhere in the system.
