This role involves providing specialized care on a pediatric floor with a focus on neonates, infants, and children with various diagnoses including prematurity, cardiac defects, feeding issues, and more. The position features alternating day and night shifts with a consistent schedule to support patient needs. Job Details: Shift: Rotating shift hours, 12 hours per shift, with responsibilities including day and night coverage. Schedule: 3 days per week, alternating day and night shifts from 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Active Maryland or Compact RN license, BLS certification, CPI certification; at least 2 years of pediatric RN experience, 3-4 patient ratio experience, prior experience with trach/vent management preferred and within pediatric Meditech charting system is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with community hospital settings, LTAC, and trauma levels I or II are preferred. Certifications: BLS, CPI (Calm Every Storm online vendor acceptable), ACLS preferred. Patient Demographics: Neonates, infants, pediatric patients. Patient Diagnoses: Prematurity, apnea of prematurity, retinopathy of prematurity, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, iatrogenic NAS. Special Equipment: Trach/vents, PICCs/central lines, TPN/ILs. Operational Details: Every other weekend required, holidays as scheduled, floating within the pediatric and related units as needed, no on-call required. Additional Information: Required to complete compliance modules within five days of start. Onboarding labs needed within 72 hours of contract signing. Candidates must be comfortable floating across units.
