The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position is available in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Job Details

• Position: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse
• Location: 509 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Certified as a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• At least two years of NICU experience
• Valid license to practice in North Carolina

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Level III Neonatal ICU procedures
• Prior experience working in a busy NICU setting

Additional Information

• NICU Unit Features: 51 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:4, and utilizes Cerner electronic medical records
• Detail-Oriented and Organized
• Every other weekend shifts apply
• Float rotation may be required for patients in Pediatric, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Mother Baby units

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
