About the role
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position in a 41-bed unit with approximately 60 professionals. This travel assignment involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a busy NICU environment, including advanced respiratory support and micro-premature infant care.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for neonatal patients in a Level II-III NICU setting.
- Operate advanced respiratory support equipment such as high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), conventional vents, CPAP, and NIPPV.
- Assist with procedures including surgery (excluding head and heart procedures), respiratory support, and micro-premature infant care.
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with excellent teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Valid certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Level II-III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience (required).
- Experience in Level III-IV NICU settings (preferred).
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting September 14, 2026, to December 14, 2026.
- Day shifts only, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule.
- No on-call responsibilities.
