Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $1,790 per week
Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill newborns in a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, with a focus on high acuity, fast-paced environments. It offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to neonatal patient care.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

Required Qualifications
- RN licensure with BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications
- Candidates must have at least 2 years of strong Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience and be comfortable in a high acuity, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Experience with EVDs, Camino device (ICP and temperature monitoring)
- Management of critical care vasoactive drip titration, invasive lines including ART lines/CVP, ventilator and trach management, and bedside procedures with providers
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses
Respiratory distress syndromes, congenital heart defects, neurological conditions, necrotizing enterocolitis, sepsis, NAS, TORCH infections, and more.
Patient Ratios
Varies based on acuity, typically 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3.
Other Responsibilities
- Include unit orientation
- Adherence to hospital dress code
- Participation in holiday and weekend schedules with manager approval for RTO needs

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
