Travel Neurology RN - $2,386 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit in Albany, New York. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 10/05/2026, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Attend to patients being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Qualifications

Candidates must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered in the Med-Surg setting.
