About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown ICU position. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Neuro-Progressive care and be capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown ICU.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate care plans.
  • Administer medications and manage intravenous lines as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in patient and family education regarding care and health management.

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM).
  • Must be flexible to float to other units as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience.
  • 5-bed Med-Surg rotation experience.
  • Epic software experience.
  • Completion of a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer.
  • Current RN licensure.
