The travel nurse RN Neurology is needed for a 17-week contract position starting September 14, 2026, in Rochester, New York. This role requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and flexibility across different shifts including weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge per unit responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent and compassionate nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate care plans.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when required.
• Precept new staff and engage in professional development.
• Participate in unit committees to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

• New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association only).
• Two (2) years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience required.
• NIHSS certification.
