About the role

Travel nursing assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Start date: 08/31/2026, duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts. This is a comprehensive stroke center with a Stroke and Neuro floor that also cares for ortho and spine patients. Stroke experience and NIHSS certification are preferred. The role includes precepting and potential work in the virtual room. Patient ratios are 3:1 for stroke-designated (SD) patients and 5:1 for all other patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Neuro ICU setting
• Precept new staff and orient them to the unit
• Work in the virtual room as needed
• Maintain professionalism and composure in fast-paced, high-stress situations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Neurology RN preferred; exceptional candidates with strong passion will be considered
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel between assignment locations
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
