Travel Neuro Stepdown & EMU RN - $2,193 per week
About the role
We are seeking a skilled Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients within our 10 EAST unit, dedicated to higher acuity neuroscience patients. The RN will play a vital role in monitoring and implementing care plans while ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a stepdown and epilepsy monitoring unit setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neuro patients, including those with strokes, seizures, and post-operative needs.
- Administer medications and IV therapies following physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any changes promptly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and evidence-based practices.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong neuro experience and history of caring for stroke patients.
- EPIC experience is required.

Pay & Schedule
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
