About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) position at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a 13-week travel contract requiring 36 hours per week (three 12-hour night shifts). The unit has 20 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. Available equipment includes IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry machines, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, and a bladder scanner. Documentation is managed via Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support, ensuring a compassionate environment
• Conduct bedside shift reports and engage with patients and their families in care planning
• Participate in patient assessments and care coordination
• Utilize iMobile communication technology for effective collaboration

Requirements

• Med/Surg experience required
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively
• Experience starting IVs and performing basic wound care
• Maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Active Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification

Schedule

Three 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00–07:00), including 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule.

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
