Travel Neuro ICU RN - $2,171 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Neuro ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Phoenix, Arizona, starting August 17, 2026.

About the Role

This position is a travel nursing assignment with a duration of 13 weeks. The role requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro assessments and ICP monitoring.
• Manage patients with diagnoses such as cranis, brain tumor removal and ablations, brain biopsies, complicated spine surgeries, and scoliosis repair.
• Maintain sterile fields, including tasks like Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.
• Float between all ICU floors and Tele Units, managing a patient load of 4:1 on Tele units.

Requirements

• 2 years of ICU experience in large (450+ bed) settings.
• Level 1 Trauma experience and EVD experience.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered if they have 18 months of Neuro ICU experience.
• 3-6 months of travel experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Valid nursing license; must be willing to wait for licensure if necessary.
• Must pass a DYS exam prior to accepting the position (2 attempts allowed).
• Adherence to grooming standards: natural hair color, no facial piercings, and clean shaving (for men).
• Must pass a pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation and in SIMs Lab.
