Travel Neuro ICU RN - $1,916 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Neuro ICU RN for a travel nursing assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina.

About the Role

This assignment lasts 13 weeks and is scheduled to start on August 17, 2026. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Vents and ventilated patient care
• IV starts and central line care/management
• Neuro Intensive Care Unit duties, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Blood product administration
• Continuous IV sedation
• CVA/Acute Stroke management
• External ventricular drains (EVD) and ICP monitoring
• Post neurosurgery management
• Isolation precautions and use of PPE
• Lumbar drain experience
• Arterial line management (preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU (no less than 2 years)
• Not open to first-time travelers; prior travel experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (BCLS), NIHSS
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• NC or Compact nursing license (pending OK for submittal)
• Charting system experience: Epic
• Must be open to floating within/near the facility as per job description

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• RTO: Up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays), must work 2 of 3 major holidays, no RTO during the first week
