Travel Neuro ICU RN - $1,905 per week
About the role
The Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) provides critical care to a diverse range of neurological patients, including those with severe stroke, traumatic brain injury, and postoperative neurosurgical demands. This position requires exceptional clinical skills and experience in neurocritical care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients with neurological conditions, including ICP, stroke, and seizures.
- Perform ventilator management and titrations of sedatives and vasoactive drips.
- Administer IV medications, blood products, and conduct ABG interpretation.
- Caretake for ICP management and EVD procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
- Current RN license, preferably compact state compliant.
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
- Proficient in ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and telemetry.
