Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - $1,911 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Neuro Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to our diverse patient population, which includes stroke patients and those requiring post-neurosurgery management. This role requires a strong background in neuro critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various neurological conditions
• Manage and administer blood products and medications
• Perform central line care and management, as well as IV starts
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and provide appropriate management
• Oversee care of ventilated patients, including continuous sedation
• Utilize isolation precautions and PPE as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Neuro Intensive Care Unit
• ACLS and BCLS certifications are required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Strong neuro critical care background is essential

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule from 18:45 to 07:15.
