Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - $1,836 per week

• Shift: 12H Nights
• Total Weekly Hours: 36

Requirements

• Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience, specifically in Neuro ICU.
• Traveler Experience: Unit will not accept first-time travelers.
• Required Skills: Vents, IV Start, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drains (EVD), ICP Monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE, Lumbar Drain experience.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
• Preferred Skills: Arterial line management.
• Licensure: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal.
• Additional Requirements: Must pass EKG Testing prior to start. Must have strong Neuro Critical Care background.
• Patient Diagnoses Experience: Experience with strokes (ischemic, hemorrhagic [SAH]), SDH, craniotomies, carotid stents, carotid endarterectomies, aneurysm coiling/clipping, seizures, Depth electrodes, myasthenia gravis. Experience with drains such as EVDs, LDs, hemovacs, Camino (ICP monitoring) is required.
